Letter from our Team
The Made in America Movement (MAM) started out of a personal passion our founder Margarita Mendoza had for sharing the stories of companies building products in America with American Made ingredients and the stories of the people behind the companies. Throughout the process of sharing those stories, she discovered that there was a major lack of information about American-Made companies.
Since that time in 2010, MAM has grown with one simple intention: to encourage others to buy more American-made products. What started as a simple blog and Facebook Page
, has grown larger than any of us ever could have imagined with the support of friends, family, and many individuals and companies.
We were honored that we were able to bring the Made in America Co. website and communities into The Made in America Movement in the Fall of 2019.
Deagan Williams started Made in America Co. with a similar heart as to our team at MAM. He cultivated the community and site for years before the organization was acquired by Bromwell Inc. in 2017. Bromwell stewarded the organization, under Deagan’s leadership, for several years helping the communities have an even larger impact.
When Bromwell approached us in 2019 with a desire for Made in America Co. to once again be an independent organization in order to help reach more consumers and help even more brands, our team was extremely excited and gratefully merged their communities with our larger MAM mission.
I never thought we would be where we are today, but it is because of individuals like you that we have the opportunity to do what we do every day. It's both an honor and a privilege to help assist our fellow Americans in buying American-Made.
On behalf of the entire organization, I want to express our sincerest expression of gratitude. So, thank you. Thank you for helping us achieve our dreams, thank you for supporting the movement, and most of all, thank you for buying American-Made.
