Liberty Tabletop | America's Last Flatware Manufacturer
Coming in as our latest American Makers feature and Sponsor of the Month is Liberty Tabletop! A brand of Sherrill Manufacturing, Liberty Tabletop is a family owned and operated business co-owned by Matt Roberts and Greg Owens. Created with pride, their Sherrill, N.Y. factory has been producing high quality flatware for more than a century. Founded in 2005, the company took over the sprawling one million square-foot facility from Oneida Limited and is now the ONLY flatware maker left in the U.S.A. That being said, they need all of our support to keep their employees working!
Liberty Tabletop manufactures high quality, 18-10 chromium/nickel stainless steel flatware. They offer a variety of patterns, 29 to be exact! From traditional to modern to niche, there is something for everyone and every size budget. They also partner with other Made in U.S.A. businesses to offer American Made kitchenware items for your tabletop including bakeware, cookware, chests, cutting boards, dishware and more.
At Liberty Tabletop, their mission has always been to preserve American jobs. When Sherrill Manufacturing began, their mission was to save the American flatware industry by purchasing the factory and preserving the jobs that were lost when Oneida Limited moved their production overseas. Now they can say that they accomplished that. Currently 50 people are employed at Liberty Tabletop/Sherrill Manufacturing and they plan to continue to grow and preserve the craft of flatware manufacturing and tool making here in the United States.
